What population of patients are served at this location?
We are an OB/GYN practice that takes care of the needs of all woman from premenstrual to post menopausal. We service both gynecological and obstetrical woman through all phases of their medical condition.
What areas of Long Island are covered through your practice?
We see patients from Nassau County (Massapequa) thru Suffolk County as far as Mastic.
Do you draw blood and perform sonograms at the office?
Yes, we do draw blood in the office. We are AIUM accredited to do both gynecological and obstetrical sonogram.
What are Dr. Polcino's credentials?
Dr. Polcino is a medical doctor (MD), board certified in GYN/OB. He is a member of ACOG - American College of Gynecologists.

How long do I need to wait for an appointment?
We always have Urgent care appointments available from 6:30am - 5pm. If you are in need of a check up, we pride ourselves in working with you and your schedule to book an appointment with in a few days time. Any patient with a pressing problem is given an immediate appointment.
Do you perform genetic testing for ovarian and breast cancer in the office?
Yes, we do. Dr Polcino will review your medical history and family history to determine what tests should be done.
Besides birth control pills, are there any other forms of birth control that should be discussed?
Yes. After a thorough consult with Dr. Polcino, he will determine which birth control method is best for you. We administer Depo-Provera, insert intrauterine devices, and give instructions regarding NuvaRing.
